The Cheese and Wine Festival is held annually in Lviv on the penultimate weekend of October. In 2017 it will be October 19-22.

Over the course of three days, participants of the holiday will be able to visit a specialized fair of agricultural products, where they will be able to try various local varieties of cheese and wine, as well as dishes such as cheese fondue, Parmesan risotto, and cheesecakes. The festival will also host various competitions, performances by folk music groups, master classes, film screenings and other events.

The main event of the holiday is a giant grape press, where a ton of grapes will be crushed, from which the festival wine will then be produced.

Also during the holiday there will be a branch of the Lviv Post Office, from where you can send a unique greeting card to any country on earth.
