The International Wine Festival takes place annually in Budapest in mid-September. This is one of the most famous such events in Hungary. Tens of thousands of people attend the events of this festival every year.
Representatives of more than 200 wine cellars from around the world take part in the wine festival in Budapest. But, of course, the main attention is paid to Hungarian wines. In 2015, the festival featured 140 grape varieties from 20 historical regions of Hungary.
The main events take place on the terrace of Buda Palace. Also within the framework of the festival, various exhibitions, concerts, seminars and lectures for wine industry professionals, etc. are held.
