During Soviet times, a large number of sanatoriums, holiday homes and children’s camps were built in the Pushcha-Voditsa area, and several equipped beaches were created on the lakes. Now there are several modern private hotels, but the Soviet recreation centers have largely fallen into disrepair. As for the park, it was abandoned and only in 2018 the city authorities (and Pushcha-Voditsa is now part of the Obolon city district) decided to renovate it.

Today, in the Pushcha-Voditsa park, all the alleys, a wooden bridge across Lake Gorashchikha have been updated, new sculptures, benches, and a sports ground have appeared. There is a cafe and toilets on the territory of the park. There is an equipped beach. In the future, it is planned to build a children’s playground.

The park itself is not very large, about 12 hectares. You can walk around it leisurely in 1 hour. But the territory of the park smoothly transitions into the forest, so a trip to the park can be combined with a picnic or swimming in the lakes. True, there will be a lot of people here during the season.
