Lviv National Theater of Opera and Ballet is one of the most beautiful theaters in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

The Lviv Opera House is located in the center of Lviv, at the very beginning of a long green park zone located in the center of Svobody Avenue. Excursions and acquaintances of tourists with old Lviv often start from this building.

The Lviv Opera House was founded in 1900, when the Austro-Hungarian Empire ruled here. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Opera and Ballet Theater in Lviv is a bit like the famous Vienna Opera. Its facade is also richly decorated with beautiful sculptures. And in the theater itself, the imperial apartments of the Austro-Hungarian monarch Franz Joseph with access to a private box have been preserved.

A big plus of the theater is low ticket prices. If you have to shell out hundreds of euros for a visit to the Vienna Opera, then you can go to the Lviv Opera for 150-200 UAH. (this is less than 10 euros).
