The Craft Fair in the city of Kezmarok is a traditional Slovak folk fair, which annually in July attracts craftsmen from all over Slovakia, as well as from abroad. This is the largest event of its kind in Eastern Europe.

At the crafts fair you can see the work of potters, glassblowers, artists and other craftsmen. Here you can buy jewelry, lace, leather, glass, metal, wood and ceramics, wickerwork and furniture, local musical instruments, traditional clothes, souvenirs, etc.

Fair near the castle

In addition to selling various goods at the fair, you can simply walk around and have fun. Folk celebrations with carnivals, songs and dances are organized here. Galleries and museums display their exhibits right in the open air for public viewing.

The town of Kezmarok is located just 10 minutes drive from the city of Poprad – the center of the Slovak region High Tatras. From Kosice you can get here by train or bus. Travel time is a little over an hour.
