Leopolis Grand Prix (LEOPOLIS GRAND PRIX) is one of the largest automobile festivals in Ukraine. Held annually in Lviv on the first weekend of June. In 2017, the Leopolis Grand Prix will be held from June 2 to 4.

Few people know that in 1930-1933, the Leopolis Grand Prix circuit racing was held in the center of Lviv, which was one of the stages of the world Grand Prix series (Formula 1 is the successor of these races). And the auto racing track (3 km long) in Lviv was planned 2 years earlier than a similar track in Monaco (which still exists today).

For many years, this information was forgotten and only in 2011, enthusiasts and city authorities decided to revive this glorious tradition.

The festival includes an exhibition of retro cars, a Grand Prix auto parade through the streets of the city (in 2011, 74 crews took part in the grand prix, half of which were from abroad), various competitions and exhibitions.
