Residence Hotelis located in Netanya, a small resort town on the Mediterranean coast, just 25 minutes by train from Tel Aviv. In our opinion, a hotel in Netanya is an excellent alternative to expensive hotels in the center of Tel Aviv, the prices of which are simply off the charts. In addition, if you do not plan to sit on the beach or in nightclubs on Tel Aviv promenade around the clock, If you travel around the country, it doesn’t make much difference whether you live in Netanya or Tel Aviv. All the same, you will need to go to the train or the central bus station, which are far from the Tel Aviv embankment. Therefore, the time spent getting to the station from the Residence Hotel or from any Tel Aviv embankment hotel will be approximately the same.

Location The Residence Hotel is located a short walk from the central pedestrian area of Netanya, on the first coastline of Sironit Beach. Next to it is the Residence Beach Hotel – don’t confuse it. This is a different hotel, although they have the same owner. Our review is specifically about the Residence Hotel.

In our opinion, the location of this hotel is simply ideal: close to both the beach and the city center, with its shops and cafes. You can get to Netanya train station from here by bus number 5 (a ticket costs about 6 shekels) in 15-20 minutes. And from there you can take a train to Tel Aviv in 25 minutes. Accommodation, rooms We took a superior room with a balcony and sea view at the Residence Hotel. We recommend that you book only these rooms at this hotel. The rooms facing the road have a view of a narrow, noisy street with construction going on. Your vacation, in this case, is guaranteed to be ruined.

Our room had a beautiful view of the beach and sea, as well as simple but pleasant furnishings. The room had a flat screen TV, an eclectic kettle, a refrigerator, and a king size bed. The interior was made in light colors. In total, the hotel has 96 rooms.

Our room price included breakfast (buffet). Breakfast included muesli, yoghurt, vegetables, egg products, and traditional local herring. In general, we were not hungry. There was also the opportunity to order dinner for extra money (also a buffet), but we only used it once, and we usually preferred to eat in city cafes.
