For one month in the summer, Istanbul turns into the shopping capital of the world. ShoppingFest Istanbul, which takes place in the largest shopping centers of Istanbul, as well as at the shopping center < a href="https://mashapasha.com/world/istanbul/istiklyal/">Istiklal Street, pleases visitors with discounts of up to 50%, as well as various promotions and events.
Some shopping centers in the city (Kapalycharshi, Mysyr Charshisy) are switching to 24-hour operation. Others (Akmerkez, Canyon) organize various promotions, competitions and presentations. Fashion shows are taking place everywhere.
Typically, the festival takes place in July every year.
Tourists who purchased goods in Istanbul upon departure from the airport will be able to receive an even greater discount on goods through the tax free tax refund program.
